     Hello there Sauerbraten players, as you all know the clan Anyson has been around for many years and we have decided to become active again! Soon we shall register clan tag protection and at the moment our servers are up! Please get back active members and lets get back to gaming!

Pillars of Doom

The map akroseum is where jumppads become an entrance towards victory, but that's my way, my fastest flagrun in akroseum is 2.3 seconds or something, I remember I posted it here before but forgot which post.. *le browse all 133 posts*

Anyways, here it is! As usual, YOU PLAN! Muahahaha! Jk, Im not that evil, but still, you plan. (lol). Point 5 actually consists of all.. pillars? I guess I'll call them that. Because Point 5 represents a higher vantage point than Point 1. The map contains several pathway that most players don't use. I'm not telling them though.. yet.

Usually if I'm the flag carrier, I use the maze, Point 3, to shake off whoever on my six. But of course, to avoid getting yourself stuck inside the maze, you should memorize the entries and exits in the maze earlier.

Authentic being Authentic

Map for Authentic, it's not as helpful as Flagstone's though, probably because of the map design, not much of strategic points for you.

This time, you plan. I don't care how or when, but you plan it. You're the boss aren't you? No? Yes? Good. You know how to contact me if you need help on planning dis. But why am I not planning this time? Well, no reason. Just wanna see if you're sharp enough to plan.

Strategy do exist!

Flanking, Blitzkrieg, Ambush. Mainly, these 3 do exist in Sauerbraten. As for example the map Flagstone.

But how? Well, Flanking includes Suppressing or Distracting. For example you're a team of 5 and 3 of your mates are Distracting your opponents on point 0 from point 4 while you flank from point 2 and your other mate goes for the flag from point 3. Get it?

Of course it requires early planning before the match, the most effective way to re-organize a plan IN the match is through voice chat, which is not built in Sauerbraten. So, some clans uses Teamspeak 3 or Skype or Mumble, in short, 3rd party softwares.

Ambush, it works if your opponent(s) are traveling from point 2 and you're on point 4. Just jump the hell on them lol. Ever play Warhammer 40k games? See how the Assault Squad Marines uses their jetpack? Yeah, like that.

"DEATH FROM ABOVE" - Thaddeus

Blitzkrieg? Oh well just group up beside the Hill (point 4) with your mates and then yell "BLITZKRIEEEG" and charge point 0. I find this funny because I used to do this with my fellow Anysons..

I'm not sure if you understand when I explain by points.. must I draw arrows on the map too?

Advantage Positions

Lessons for the map Flagstone shall begin once... it begins. Lessons are not fun without visuals, right? So I took a screenshot of the map from above and marked each strategic points with circled numbers.

Want to use this? Sure go ahead, save the image and use it.. for your clan maybe? Or yourself? Think you can do better than this? If yes, good.

I'll start lesson about flanking defenders and such later, not now. I'd like to keep posts as short as possible now.

Hey, I wonder.. Why and how did we last this long? I mean 4 years and we're not even a big, serious clan. Just a clan with a bunch of handful mates. We beat the small clans, can't even challenge the large ones, and yet we're still here, posting, meeting, chatting and all.

Plus, look at this! We have fallen in the dark abyss hole and unable to escape from our mess! Yet, we're still here, spamming space bar, left mouse button, Z or G and W, A, S, D. It's just weird how Anyson broke apart like 4 times already and we keep rising back again.

Perhaps I should be thankful to my loyal members, especially Ownz, who care about this clan and keep asking me to rebuild it every single time it fell. Sure, not an exception to Bt and Shag. And the new members who wants to participate it rebuilding it.

But don't take this too seriously, just take it easy, a building takes years to finish it's construction, right? Just that, make sure there's no hole in the wall or it'll all fall again into the dark abyss hole.

Revamped

You there! What do you think of the new banner and icon? Hm? I guess it's.. pretty cool! Since I made the wolf design, it should represent Anyson. Just like old times! Just, back in the old days the players are 10 times more active than now.

But I believe Ownz and the new Anyson mates can work it out to remake the history. Then, I just might come back into Sauer more often. I wonder how I survived this long, lol. Bahh, let's look forward this time!

Are the Wolves awake?

Hey Hey fellow levies! I wonder myself, are the Wolves awake and aware? It seems like Anyson's making some progress under Ownz's control in Sauer. We got a website underway though I'm not sure when it'll be up. My main concern are the Crowd members who joined Anyson recently.

I mean, why? We just got started and Anyson is sort of.... ancient. Or that's what Ownz said, as I agreed it is. My first thought is, "Maybe the name of Anyson still lives in the hearts of champions?", I doubt it still. But I'm happy of our progress so far and I don't want to fill myself up with questions now, I need to trust Ownz and the current Anysons for it's own future.

So good luck in bringing honor back into the ancient legendary Anyson! May the banner of Fear and Pride rise again as before!

Owning Ownz

Why hello there! Since you're passing by this blog I'd like to update a few stuff. I don't know which one to start with though but I guess I'll start with Ownz, the old Co-Leader of Anyson who joined Crowd clan recently! Also Shaggy I think.. Since I stopped playing Sauer Anyson is kinda dead, or it actually is dead. Not sure who to ask for to help it keep moving.

But I came back, just for like 30 minutes to see what's up. I found Shaggy at first as Crowd's trainee, then he called Ownz over but uhhh, he was busy. So I gone off! After several minutes Ownz called me over from Facebook. Just for a duel. I can't wait to see how much did he improved since we last met and wow, not bad for a 54-60, he won over me just by 6 frags.

Not sure if that's an improvement though because it's been a while for me so trying to remember how I move or even shoot like last time takes time. But it was fun, short after that he called Krystal over from IRC, damn, I was surprise that she's still 'alive'.

And hey, I'm very happy that these mates are all loyal to Anyson, Isuck, Shaggy and Ownz. When I changed my name from Tryan to |Anyson.L|Ash they also changed their name to Anyson and I am proud of them.

The Rising

Anyson shall rise again! One more time! Well, we sort of been rising and rising then fall and rise again which is quite tiring.. and it's all for the same game which is Sauerbraten. So Ash said "Hey! Why not move Anyson to some other (smaller) games!" And here he is, stalking games that are still in development.

And Ash says "I shall wait for clan/guild update, after that quickly register Anyson!" He got the games all listed, not gonna list it here tho. He is currently preparing for fresh start for him and Anyson. Ash ever wonders why he can't just leave Anyson unless if he had to.

"What about Sauer? Are you gonna quit it and cancel Anyson? D:"
Ehem, yes and no. I decided to NOT quit it, just that, I won't be playing as often as before. Anyson gonna keep moving but not rapidly anymore. We're organizing Anyson for other games.

Right now if Ownz is reading this and still playing Sauer, Ash says "I'm putting you in charge of Anyson."

Last thing I wanna say, I'm glad things work out this way. Eventho it means that all of my hard work I put into Anyson in Sauer ends, I get to meet a lot of friends! So, one way if you want to have friends in Sauer is to create a clan/group and be a pro. You'll be popular as the leader!

Happy yet sad

Well then, shall we begin? Today I went on Sauer, both Collect and Justice for half an hour. And I see Justice is dying which goes the same to Collect but a slower death. I was trying to find some friend of mine, Krystal, Shaggy, Anysons and the rest. No one was on.

I found out that most of them quit already :(
But hey, I'll miss them! It's sad to know that your friends who you use to chat for 10 hours each day quit... But, I'm happy too! In search of my friends I usually confront a lot of haters/jealousies. Yet today I confront none, also some of my 'enemies' servers are nowhere to be found.

That totally hooked my spirit back up. Of course, I'm still sad about my friends.. Thinking of playing Sauer back and either find my remaining friends or making new ones now. Even tho I already have some friends in Of Guards And Thieves.

So yeah, I might come back like 80% I will. Just gonna see if I can experience the fun I had again. I'll give it a one month shot, if I see no hope, no fun in Sauer anymore then I shall move on another game, probably Of Guards And Thieves followed by Ancient Kemet.

Hereby I announce Anyson Clan, dead. Still, no worries for it shall be reborn somewhere else where suits our skills, stealth, tactics and defense. If you think you can lead Anyson in Sauerbraten, feel free to, but inform me.

Heyho Ironsnores!

Ciao over there! Oh, Ciao is "Hello" or "Hey" in modern Italian. Hey, I take language classes (online!). Don't judge me there (Lol). So, I'm not here to tell you I learn Italian and random stuffs. Its just a greet message.

Yet, I can't believe I wrote a whole paragraph for a greet message.. I just judged myself, didn't I? Bah, who cares (I do). Now, I'm here to tell you, I'm not dead. Its just, 4 years on Sauer was rough, tough and repetitive. I decided to take a break from it maybe, a month or few or more.

Well, what am I doing now, you wonder? Browsing IndieDB for more Linux games! Currently I'm tracking some good games and help some developers with their games currently in development. You should do the same. Before I throw a brick on your screen through mine. Which is possible. You know that.

So, I might be back this month or next. No worries, I might visit this weekend if I feel like to. Just get on, greet everyone and drop off if I got nothing to do. For I am now learning tons of stuff.. 3D modeling, languages and school.. School is the most torturing one.

Well, thats about it.. "(Lol)" as Ash finished writing a post, why? Because the whole post is not Sauer-related. Maybe a few sentences but most of it. And it doesn't make any sense to him. Just to tell you I am alive took me 5 paragraphs. Bah! SPARTAA!! -Have fun fragging and... "I'll be back" said the Terminator-

Wait, where did everyone go? Oh wait, it's summer.. Of course! Everyone is enjoying their summer! Except for me here, obviously. So I'm just passing by, saying that we got a new badge/logo/icon (whatever!). Who cares! No, I care.

By the way, while I was not on Sauer, I actually browsed IndieDB for some new Indie games for my Linux! It is sooo fortunate that I found some (but most of them are not released) games. I'm currently tracking this (at least) one released but still in BETA state.

Of Guards and Thieves~

My 2nd favourite game after Sauerbraten! Wanna know more about it from me? Damn, you're lazy! Get on their IndieDB site or their developers site! Its fun, and currently they are working on the.. uhh.. Clan System!

I know what you're thinking.. "Oh, Ash is going to bring Anyson in!", damn right, either that or I'll create a new clan or I'll just join some other clan with cool names and invite the fellow Anysons in. Currently, Sauer is VERY boring, because most of my friends are off for their summer.

This, Of Guards and Thieves reminds me of, Splinter Cell series. Because its the same concept and ideas! I'm also suggesting them to make it a bit similar to Splinter Cell but with addition, difference. Which what makes an Indie game fun (in my opinion).

Oh, I'm off the post topic.. Nevermind me, I'm just eager to play OGAT (Of Guards and Thieves). So heres the badge/logo/icon.. Whatever.. I'll see you later! Either soon, or when summer ends. In the mean time, enjoy your time!

Why o' Why

So people asked me, why is the clan tag (ridiculously) long and stuffs. There are reasons behind them. Of course they relate to the clan. So, I guess I can answer a few. Since I don't remember all of them, bad memory!

• "Why Anyson Clan has a ridiculously long clan tag?"

First, its just a name. Also, its to see how eager someone is when they wanted to join Anyson, if they complain about the 'long' clan tag, they either are suggesting to shorten it or just being selfish. Anyways, for 4 years no one ever complain about it, first time I hear this.

• "Why won't you guys invite people to your clan?"

Loyalty/Eager. We either want to see how long someone can last by wishing to be ask to join the clan. Are they loyal to Anyson in order to join us? For example, a member of Anyson, Kdr A.K.A Hot$hot have always wanted to join Anyson or sp4nk. (sp4nk is like the best clan in Sauer!)

• "Why u no play clan wars?"

We do, actually. But we usually don't because its the same thing as normal ctf just with lesser peeps. Also, learned a lesson from the NC clan earlier this year after an ex Co-Leader's greed, overconfidence and idiocy.

• "Is there even a requirement in order to join Anyson?"

Of course there is, play more than 2 months in order to join and know how to follow the rules. But its for everyone generally.

• "Iz Anyzon a goodz clan?"

I forgot who I made contact with for this question. So, don't bother.. but it was hilarious. We're just some random fraggers so I guess we're just average. We dislike arrogant players too, so don't be one.

• "Why is Anyson small in terms of members?"

A lot of fraggers move to Collect, so we decided to stay! Unless if there are no more server left, just like Trooper. So, small amount of fraggers in Justice, small amount of Anyson members. Thats it!

Change of Appearance? It means Anyson will be changed, the blog's appearance, leaders, members and rankings. Something new for us! Same goes for the whole Sauer community in Justice!

Now, let me introduce you the new leaders of the Anyson Clan. The new Leaders are |Anyson.L|Ownz and |Anyson.L|Eagle. Wait, 3 leaders? No, 2 leaders. I'm just another clan founder for now. Of course I can demote them anytime I want but I promote them for special reasons. Seeecreeet~
